Due-date reminders that land on the day. Not a week late, not at 2am.
Lecturers set a reminder once; the portal queues it by due date and nudges every student at the same local time. Assignments hand in on time, NSFAS paperwork closes before the window, matric scripts reach the registrar by 15:00.
Reminders keyed to the task, not the send.
Due dates, not send dates
A reminder is bound to the task, not the post. Set it a week ahead, the portal fires it 24 hours before, day-of at 07:00, and two hours before cutoff. Lecturers set it once and move on.
Student-controlled snooze
Students can snooze a reminder by an hour or confirm 'done' — either way the lecturer sees it on the roster. A reminder that is ignored, not snoozed, escalates to the HoD for the next batch.
WhatsApp-ready
Every reminder can fire to WhatsApp for students who have opted in. Free for the student; billed at cost to the campus on Campus + Multi-Campus tiers.
Integrates with attendance
A student who missed the last two classes gets a softer, HoD-signed reminder. The portal reads the signal from the attendance data and adapts tone. Small detail; large effect.
“A reminder that fires on time is worth more than a notice board that is always there. Time-of-day is the product.”
