What you get on day one
Data residency
Your campus data lives on a South African or EU datacentre of your choice. No US-only routing.
Encryption at rest and in transit
TLS 1.3 on every request. AES-256 on stored records and backups.
Role-based access
Students see their own records. Lecturers see their subjects. Admins see the campus. No cross-cohort leakage by default.
Audit log on request
Every login, grade change, attendance correction — logged with timestamp and user ID. Exportable for DHET audits or internal reviews.
Subject access and deletion
A student can request their full record or erasure in two clicks. We answer within 48 hours, as POPIA requires.
Incident disclosure
If we detect a breach affecting your campus, you are notified within 24 hours with scope, impact, and remediation status.
Where we say no
- We do not process payments through the portal — handoff to Yoco, PayFast, or your existing gateway.
- We do not claim ISO27001 certification. We follow the principles; we have not paid for the plaque.
- We do not sell anonymised data to third parties. Ever.
